Gentle breazes. Full and beautiful clouds, holding color. The Sun setting behind Molokai Island. Remote camera trigger in one hand and a beer in the other. What more can be said?
After a 3 day long storm, the conditions were perfect for some sunset drama. The explosion of color didn't happen till after the sun was already set. I recognized that the upper clouds were moving very quick, and that the lower clouds were hardly moving at all. It was the perfect scenario to use a long exposure to blur the upper clouds into streaks of color, while maintaining definition to the lower clouds.
